Hi to everyone

First of all i just want to say thanks..Thanks for such a good site,it is giving a plateform to associate and learn.

 I am planning to organize a concert with one of the big singer. venue would be big enough coz we are expecting at least 6000 audience(it could be more than that) so plz help me in planning and specially in production  like approx size of stage light sound etc or anything I should take care of…till yet I ve done lots of events and promotional activities but this is going to be slightly bigger...

Lets start it this way
The Permissions
If Municipal Corporation exits you will need their permission.
Police permissions form CP office
Traffic Permissions
Fire Brigade (For this you will require a lay out of your plan which will include all the fire safety measure that you will be taking.1. Fire exit gate 4 Nos. with out any bottle neck . Must be big enough to let the fire truck to come in . with FIRE EXIT tag on it . Easily readable .2. Water Filled Drums Place at different corners. 3. Fire extinguishers . 4. water tanker.

Stage set up.
To reduce the stage cost you can hire a set which will be around 1.5 Lac.
Stage size should be 150 x 60 ft @ Rs. 21 per sqft.
Light effects to bring the stage to light would cost you around 50 thousand.
Sound not more then 60 thousand to 1 Lac.
Black masking and green room + other will be around 20 th.
LCD projection for viewing with 6000 invitees you can use 4 LCD + 2 live cam and on line mixer to give it a perfect effect. The switchers will help you in making things more liver
Genrator around 150 KVA

then we have ground set up
Chairs nearly 8000
Tables 100
Flood lights enough to cover the ground
Barricading to differentiate between tickets
Water arrangements
Go for theatre sitting if the width of the ground is good

You will need security personnel
Bouncers
and man power

Promotion for the part of the event should start 1 month in advance
1. Radio a very good medium
2. Tie up for ticket sale with local shops placed at good market

Hi Bro i am planining in Lucknow and i belong to same city. I run my agency frm Lucknow and i cover entire UP so back to the point, celeb going to be really BIG one buddy once let the few things finalize than i ll let everyone know,permission i ll take care.But the thing is i never done this before as production part.Earlier i was involved in Shanker Ehsan Loy concert with Macdowell but as PR so no idea about organizing.
if you ve any idea or element sheet in detail kindly share that....anyways Which kind of project you handle...
I think special effects is also very important for the stage. One of a music festival in China----Strawberry Music Festival 2010, which has used a kind of cloud machine on the spot.
