May cloud machine replace fireworks in events?

Hi Everybody,

Nowadays, at large events, people usually like to use fireworks for atmospheric effects. But as I know, fireworks has three disadvantages: it is dangerous, it normally could only be used in the night time, and it is already without novelty, not attractive yet. So I think it is more useful to use cloud machine in events, here are my reasons:
1. It could be used for special effects in events such as parties, weddings, live shows, performances, etc. Create an atmosphere of full sky of clouds flying.
2. It could be used for commercial use in such corporate events such as corporate anniversary/carnival, advertising, promotion, new product releasing, new stores opening, etc. It could make corporate logo shaped clouds flying in the air, well representing an corporate image and easily attracting people's eyes.
3. It can be used both in the day time and at night(make fluorescent clouds ) without any harm and danger to the human.

I don't know if this idea would accepted by the major of event planning. So here I sincerely ask for your help if this is possible. Your any suggestion or different views are welcome and appreciated! Just open your mind and say whatever you want to present!

Hi Taylormartha,

Thanks for your post. Regarding the safety issue, I was wrong at one point. It is not safe to use florescent clouds at night, because fluorescence is usually toxic. Anyway, the colors can be realized by refraction of colored lights. I asked and know that the heart and star in the picture at night is refracted by white lights, and here is red cloud refracted by red lights.

Hi Connie,

Thanx for ur attention. You are right as your part. But my money is regarding public safety in presence of crowd. As you know that toxic is harmful but firework are not risk less. There always chance of miss happening. Only attention and safe hand provide the safety measures. It's good that people switching the trend.
