It depends upon the type of event u r organizing. If u r into fashion shows, wedding management, celebrity management or corporate events, then it is must to look good. I don't know what exactly u meant by looking good. I am talking about being smartly dressed, diplomatic and polite.

i know we have to be smartly dressed diplomatic n polite during on of the events bt i mean to ask was abt features of ur face, the way u look n nt the way u carry urself. We can do smart dressing v can b diplomatic n polite bt if our body is nt looking good???

if u r talking about physical appearance, then yes, it does matter. It can help in getting business. People love to associate with beautiful people. This is human psychology.

really thanx 4 ur postive reply
bt u know wat i m nt getting job n due to some reasons i was nt able to do pratical studies so i dont have any type of pratical knowledge n i tried in mnay event companies in baroda bt my luck is nt good so i thought to start my own bt than problem is i dont have any type of pratical knowledge so i m totally confused abt wat to do.
n i dont know where i m behind that y i m nt getting job so i thought may b due to my looks or may wat i m nt finding it out

Dear Ankita ,
If You not able to Find Job and You feel In the Insecurity , Then First do one thing, Analyze Your self , Belive In Your GOD , As he will show you the correct Path . Always Listen to Your heart , Don't waste time to do Experimenting and all , Never Goes to People Talks and comment , Time wil come and you will rock .

don't start ur own work without experience. u will loose ur money. develop contacts in the event management field and u will get a job 4 sure. best of luck:)

Hi ankita, wel as himanshu said it depends upon the nature of event... for start up of a career u shud look gud and that means how u carry urself, how u talk to others rest all ur work will speak..... if someone's features of face is not gud then he or she shud prove them by their work....... the only smartness is in ur mind i.e. craetivity

I think looking good helps. Confident is great but if you dress like a slob would anyone want you to plan their event? I think dressing like a slob (even though you do great work) can equal to clients thinking you work like one too.

In my opinion it does not matter the organized event type, you always have to look polite, organized, well mannered and able to control the situation.
