I need some ideas for a wedding centerpiece for a country chic wedding using gerber daisies. The colors are yellow and wine. I am using burlap table cloths with a wine runner. Any ideas and pictures (very visual) will help!

Thanks

Baby shower cakes are very popular. I saw an idea for wedding shower cakes not very long ago. They used bath and hand towels as the cake and then you could add ribbon & the daisies for decoration. You can have the towels personalized to give out as favors or just for the bride & grooms new home.

Here's another idea.... Put a small round mirror on the table. Put a fishbowl on top. Use colored glass beads as the rocks in the bottom, add water and a beta fish or 2. Decorate your mirror with the daisies or put them in the bowl if you think the fish will survive. Make sure you have a plan for your fish when the party is over. Maybe have enough to pass out to the kids that are there.
Hi, I've actually been doing a lot of research lately on wedding centerpieces, so I hope this will help: a lot of people are looking for more modern centerpieces. They are using things such as empty birdcages, and other abstract items to decorate their tables. However, the coolest idea I came across was that they were using pictures as decorations. They would make sure they had pictures of all of their guests before the reception, and place them according to their guest seating chart. This was a fun way to show people where they were sitting by finding pictures of themselves! I think it would work well with your flowers as well.
I think flowers are very chic, either as a centerpiece or placeholder or party favor even. Goodluck.
I just finished an event which included a Silent Wine auction. The colors were Wine and Champagne. For the centerpieces on the tables I had decanter shaped vases half filled with used wine corks, a piece of willow branch in the center and two champagne gerbers and one burgundy greber in water tubes placed among the corks. If you are using a wine runner on the table and your colors are burgundy and yellow choose all yellow gerbers. Some of the cream gerbers have a yellow tone which would be more champagne than bright yellow, I think that color works better with burgundy. Gerbers in water tubes onlly last for about 6 hrs.
