Holiday Parties

Do any of you have ideas for holiday party themes?

I LOVE Ugly Christmas Sweater parties. I think they're hilarious and tons of fun. Boom973 is having an Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest and you could win $5000! I know...it's kind of crazy. Just check out their website. boom973 [dot] com.

I'm also a big fan of holiday baking dates and was thinking of having a baking party at which all guests would help bake holiday treats. Everyone would go home with a selection of all treats created that day. I just have to figure out the logistics of such an event and then I'm going to get planning!

Any other holiday party ideas out there?

My friends once did a holiday murder mystery party, named "who killed santa" everyone was either an elf, reindeer, or someone from the naughty list. Made for an interesting evening, and put an almost ironic violent twist on the jolly- joy dripping holiday of Christmas.

You can go on a hike with your close friends in the malibu mountains and in between th meadows or just go for surfing in the malibu beach.These are great holiday parties which provide escapism from the daily monotonous life.
